Excited to launch my #EmployerBranding101 series

Excited to launch my #EmployerBranding101 series 🙌 .

Hoping to bust a couple of myths around #employerbranding and share some nuggets I learnt over the time I've been working in this space.

#1

🔊 Not all talent-related activities/tasks - such as ice-cream days or posting random employee photos on social media - can be labelled as 'doing employer branding'.

Of course, it's a nice thing to do, a lot of effort goes into this, and it will have some influence on your overall employer reputation, but how is it differentiating you as an employer?!

Seek to:

➡ engage in activities you can easily link to your organisation's purpose, values and/or strategy

➡ explicitly communicate this link! (verbally, or in writing)

➡ have a plan around which activities and touch points you can use to really stand out as an employer

Great employer branding is merely about budget for more activities, it's about taking those activities you already have, and transforming them into real magnets to attract and engage THE RIGHT talent.

What efforts are you engaging in to stand out as an employer?!
