Here's my take on #employerbranding for small businesses - part of my #EmployerBranding101 video series.

As was discussed in last week's panel discussion at Malta Chamber of SMEs annual conference, employer branding is for businesses of every size.

Why? Because every organisation can actively work on their reputation as an employer.

But...how often does a small business owner reflect on the type of employer they want to be and what actions/behaviours and practices would be required to fulfil this vision?!

Ironically, in a small business it can be much more straight forward to nurture brand ambassadors. Less hierarchy and/or leaders to align on what the organisation really stands for and what behaviours are expected in line with the purpose.

Any experiences to share?

One restaurant I go to regularly comes to mind. How is it that with all this competition, the waiting staff has remained the same?! Some for over 5 years?!
